Gong Hay Fat Choy! Here are some Chinese New Year dishes that I've cooked for my family over the years. It is good luck to prepare an even number of dishes, such as 8 which means prosperity in Chinese.
Here is a compilation of festive dishes to help you celebrate this Lunar New Year of the Dragon. May we all be blessed with good health and prosperity for 2012! (Mouse over picture to view recipe).
I was just wondering what to make for our reunion dinner, you inspired me! I'll make dishes with shrimp, lotus root soup, pork rib.... also must buy "Nian Gao". My daughter loves the yellow sugar Nian Gao very much and my hubby loves the one with sugar cane. Thanks for sharing.
Kong Hei Fatt Choy! I was blog hopping when I chanced upon your blog! All your CNY dishes look wonderful! I have yet to make "ang ku" but I will one day as I bought a mold on my trip back in 2010 :)
